What is the Camptastic Team up to Now?
#SaveTahigwa Unfortunately, we now believe that Camp Tahigwa is in imminent danger of either closing, or being "divested" to the point that it is unrecognizable. We need your help to ensure Tahigwa remains a place where girls grow in confidence, courage, and character for years to come. You can help by staying in touch with us on Facebook, and remembering to Write, Do, and Tell.
Write to the Board of Directors, Property Committee, Girl Scouts Staff, local media, representatives, Allamakee County officials, etc. about how important camp is.
Do continue to participate in events at Tahigwa. Even better, plan your own. We're here to help.
Tell anyone and everyone about what camp is, how they can get involved, and how important it is. Following us on Facebook is a great way to stay in the loop. Bridge to Bismarks is open to the entire public, so it's a great way to bring you friends of all ages to camp.
Phew! Now that the icky stuff is out of the way, here's what else we have going on:
